Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with a heartfelt welcome from your private guide at your Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport. Set off on a scenic drive through rolling farmland and acacia-dotted landscapes on your way to Tarangire National Park, famed for its majestic baobab trees and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in East Africa.

Upon entering the park, embark on your first game drive, enjoying the rhythm of the bush as wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River an essential water source. Watch for predators such as lions and leopards subtly moving through the grasses, while cheetahs streak across open plains. Expect to encounter large herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and giraffes against the backdrop of ancient baobabs.

Take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch beneath the acacia, listening to birdsong and basking in serene surroundings. After lunch, continue your explorations, possibly encountering stunning birdlife and additional mammals as the afternoon progresses. As evening approaches, drive to Karatu’s Farm of Dreams Lodge, settle into your comfortable room, and enjoy a delicious dinner complemented by the tranquil lodge setting.

Day 2: Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at the lodge, begin your scenic journey from Ngorongoro Conservation Area through the Loduare Gate, heading toward the world-renowned Central Serengeti. The drive itself is a visual feast transitioning from the lush, elevated forests of Ngorongoro to the vast, sweeping savannahs of the Serengeti.

Arrive at the Serengeti National Park, where the endless plains begin to unfold, offering your first real glimpse into this iconic wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, with chances to spot wildlife en route — including giraffes, elephants, and perhaps the first sightings of the Serengeti’s famous big cats.

By the afternoon, reach the heart of the park the Central Serengeti (Seronera) a region teeming with year-round wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through this rich ecosystem, known for its predator population, large herds of herbivores, and the classic Serengeti scenery that stretches endlessly to the horizon.

Day 3: Central Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater 

After an early breakfast at your camp, leave the Central Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, enjoy views of the beautiful landscape and watch for animals as you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Once you arrive at the crater, you will descend about 600 meters to the floor of this famous volcanic caldera for a full-day game drive. The crater is one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife up close. You may spot elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos, and  if you're lucky even a black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater with stunning views of the surrounding nature. After lunch, continue your game drive and explore different parts of the crater.

Later in the afternoon, drive to Karatu, where you will check in at Farm of Dreams Lodge. Relax, have dinner, and enjoy a peaceful evening after a day full of amazing wildlife.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha (End of Tour)

After breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, a flourishing gem nestled against the Rift Valley escarpment. Orbiting the shores of the alkaline lake, this compact park is rich in biodiversity. Spend the morning on a game drive through contrasting landscapes from shimmering wetlands teeming with flamingos and aquatic birds, to dense woodlands alive with baboons and colobus monkeys, and wide-open grasslands where elephants, giraffes, and buffalo graze.

With luck, witness the prized tree-climbing lions resting in branches as you drift past a unique and unforgettable sight. Enjoy a leisurely lunch break before embarking on your final leg of the journey.

Return to Arusha or transfer to Arusha Airport, bringing your captivating safari to a close filled with the stories, emotions, and visuals of East Africa’s extraordinary wilderness.
